Additional Information The local women who were part of the housekeeping staff at St. Anthony included Kate, cook; Mary and Lizzie, maids; and Mrs. Ryan, housekeeper.
Jessie Luther (second from right), a Massachusetts volunteer, started the Industrial Works Department at the Grenfell Mission. Reuben Simms, neighbour and supporter, assisted the Mission in all aspects of northern life.
