Sixty-nine images were taken from the publication The History of the Fishermen's Protective Union of Newfoundland, compiled and edited by W. F. Coaker. And 29 photos were selected from the albums of Camilla Coaker — daughter of W. F. Coaker — now held at The Rooms Provincial Archives. Although some of the Camilla Coaker photos are similar to those found in the other collections, they offer a personal, family perspective, as indicated by the captions.
