1. Suggest that where community consists of less than three house-holders all must sign a Petition for assistance to resettle.

    (a) The owner of the dwelling he occupies
    (b) Renting the dwelling he occupies
    (c) Occupies a dwelling owned by the parish

3. Is a School Teacher eligible for assistance. If he is

    (b) Renting the dwelling he occupies
    (c) Occupies a dwelling owned by the School Board;

    (b) If the owner has two dwellings one occupied by his family and the other:
        (i) rented

Could he qualify for assistance on behalf of each dwelling? If so in what amount? The Agreement between the Province and Federal Government provides in Section 2(g) that the number of dwellings and the number of householders shall be equal.

    (a) If all householders move after April 1st, 1965.
    (b) If some move after April 1st, 1965.
        AND IF
those who move after April 1st, 1965 are eligible and have received assistance under the previous program will that amount of $600.00 be considered as part payment under the new scheme
        AND
considered by the Federal Authorities as provincial share of the new scheme.
        IF SO
will the Department of Welfare have to transfer that amount to the Department of Fisheries in order for us to secure a refund from the Federal Government. (This might mean a paper entry only but must be clarified).

6. Section 9(c) and 10(c) of proposed regulations should we not include cost of transportation of fishing gear, boats, livestock, stock in trade of a shorekeeper etc.
