Merchant Seamen - Commissioned Fleet Auxiliary, 1914-1920

This database contains the names of more than 12,000 seamen taken from the T 124 X crew agreements of the vessel Sunhill, Official No. 104354. These crew agreements called "Agreement and Account of Crew-Commissioned Fleet Auxiliary" are held at the Maritime History Archive. They cover the years 1914 - 1920. The database is a work in progress with approximately 200 names being transcribed monthly. Newly transcribed names are added to the publicly accessible database by the end of the day on the first Thursday of each month.

The database can be searched in two fields: Last Name and First Name. The result will list 10 records per page with each record showing database information contained in six fields: Last Name, First Name, Agreement Signing Date, Nearest Relative or Friend, Box Number and Document No., along with a link to the image of the actual T 124 X document. Further information on that person can be extracted from that page.

The MHA has made every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy of the database. However, you may find a discrepancy between the data in the database and in the original T 124 X document. Or the image of the document may not appear. Please report any errors to the Maritime History Archive at mha@mun.ca and we will correct the error or the problem.
