Adm. Hist/Bio. Sketch: "John Llewelyn" - official number 118505, 171 gross tons, built in 1904 at Portmadoc, Wales, registered at Carnarvon and owned by Ellis Jones of Carnarvon. Sold to Harvey and Co., Ltd. in 1918 and registered in St. John's, Newfoundland. Totally lost east of Square Island, Labrador on October 9, 1928.
Scope and Content: Photographs of the vessel "John Llewelyn" and St. John's Harbour, NL, as well as a 4 page article from the "Daily News" containing the 3rd of a 4-part story by Cassie Brown about Capt. Job Barbour called "48 Days Adrift".
