Adm. Hist/Bio. Sketch: | "John Llewelyn" - official number 118505, 171 gross tons, built in 1904 at Portmadoc, Wales, registered at Carnarvon and owned by Ellis Jones of Carnarvon. Sold to Harvey and Co., Ltd. in 1918 and registered in St. John's, Newfoundland. Totally lost east of Square Island, Labrador on October 9, 1928. |
