Miss Grouchy wore a very pretty one this morning. It was open straw trimmed with roses and blue ribbon. Her favorite colour is blue. She has some very pretty dresses, among them, she wears a blue one. I admired it very much: so she tells me she will have her picture taken for one when she goes home, and will wear that dress. We are great chums. I have been over to the Parsonage with her often. She is one who doesn't mind in the least what you say to her. She has been spending a time with Mrs. Fitzgerald.

I did not finish my letter to send it last Sunday: but will try now. Mother is just having her dinner, but I am going to wait until I finish this bit.
Watson & Lewis are just gone out. We have been playing and singing hymns. Watson is now able to work on the road; but feels his feet very tender from the rheumatism.
Will is beginning to eat now, which is a sure sign that he is getting better. One of Dick Marshall's brothers died a short while ago in consumption.
