Felix Edward Borus, son of John Borus and Franciska Duke, was born 9 November 1902 in Webster, Massachusetts. He had two brothers and three sisters. He enlisted in the United States Navy 12 October 1920. He married Rose Marie Pearl Cazeault in 1933 and had a daughter, Judy, born 1934 and a son, Robert, born ca. 1937. He served as Chief Machinist's Mate on the USS Truxtun from 1939-1942 when it wrecked off the coast of Newfoundland on 18 February 1942. He is buried at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Webster, Massachusetts.
