Murray Rosenblatt was born 6 April 1917 in New York City. He joined the United States Naval Reserve on 5 August 1940 at New York, service ID number 4036229 as seaman, 1st class. He served on the USS Pollux, and was lost when that vessel was wrecked on the coast of Newfoundland on 18 February, 1942. He had listed his mother, Mrs. Rae Rosenblatt of New York as his next of kin. He is buried in the New York City Cemetery.
